Real Housewives Of Atlanta Foreclosed

Real Housewives Of Atlanta Foreclosed

Who gon' check me, boo?

For anyone that saw the 1st episode of the second season of the Real Housewives of Atlanta, they were in for a treat! The show covered all of the housewives and what's been going on lately in each of their lives since last year's's culmination.

First thing we note is that DeShawn Snow is no longer part of the show while Kandi from the 90's girl group Xscape has replaced her. Initially I wonder why they selected some washed up R&B vocalist to join the cast. However, we find out a few interesting morsels about her like she's a Grammy award winning songwriter and is currently writing and recording her album. She also has done well with some property holdings. Who knew?! I stand corrected on the washed up comment!

NeNe has moved into a new housebigger and better than the last one! This should help to squash the rumors that she and her husband are broke and got thrown out of their house. She invites the 6th housewife, Dwight, to come over to help her to embellish her new digs! Dwight is truly a character himself. This showy and ever effeminate creature is a delight to watch! His use of the word,'dreadful' in describing all people, places, things AND events that are not to his liking will leave any spectator highly amused.

NeNe decided to become adult and approached Sheree for a truce. It was refreshing to see two grown women ACT like 2 grown women.

Lisa Wu Hartwell apparently is friends with Kandi. They're shown at Lisa's house discussing performing one-woman skits in a show that's to rival the Vagina speechs, but for black ladies. Lisa is a little nervous about what her skit would be about. Also, during this girl talk, Kandi let's Lisa know that her mom does not like the person she's engaged to because he has a lot of children...6 children, to be exact! Lisa is then shown later in the show with her husband as they talk about possibly having another child. Lisa thinks she could be too ancient at 38 while her husband ( age 31 ) is gung-ho for the new baby thing!

Kim is shown making an attempt to get more info about starting a wig line. All i can say is that Kim needs to first address her very own wig disasters before she will begin to sell wigs with her name attached to it!

Last, but glaringly least is Sheree. She's had a major life shift in that her home was foreclosed upon since the last season. In this episode, we see Sheree in her smaller, yet elegant home as she talks with a buddy about her ex. Now her ex is a subject that should be discussed all on its own. This dead beat ex-husband had a court order to pay the mortgage yet he failed to pay it and did not even tell the mother of his kids that they might be put out! What a jerk!

But what truly was the highlight, or should I say lowlight, of the show was the explosive exchange between Sheree and a party planner named Anthony. This disaster started when Sheree met up with the party planner at the office to clear up some issues she was having with Anthony and his clear hatred for clients asking questions on an event he is due to plan for them. Once in the meeting, Sheree explained that she needed to be in a position to provide input about HER event and ask as many questions as she wanted without him responding with, "I answered that question already." Anthony answered, with MUCH anger and stated that he was a'top-level executive' and wanted Sheree to respect his time. The s*t hit the fan! Before you knew it both were going at it! Anthony proceeded to scream at Sheree that he was going to'check' her to which Sheree replied in her best sista-girl voice,"Who gon' check me, boo?" By far, this was the best scene and line in the Real Housewives series yet!! This blowup has even quickly prompted t-shirts showing the phrase "Who gon' check me, boo?" Prior to this episode, Sheree was my least favorite housewife, but with that one explosive scene coupled with the sympathy I have for her ex-husband difficulties AND a preview of her possibly snatching off one of Kim's wigs, she's now become one of my favorites!

Well, if this first episode of the RHOA is going to be anything like the remainder of the season I will be stuck to the TV on Thursdays locked and loaded for more great lines like,"Who gon' check me, boo?"

Question: Buying a Bank owned Home...?

There's a home on the market that is owned by the bank. I guess it got foreclosed or something. Anyways, i think that they will usually sell it to a person for less so that they can just get rid of it. So my question is, if they want to get rid of the home, will the same bank ever give you a loan for it? And if so, can you get a really low interst rate from them if not a 0% interst rate from them since you took the home off their hands? It would then be as if they never had anything to do with the home in the first place, but they would still be working with you for you to pay them the cost of the house back. a person would just be securing them the home and its paayment, just as they wouldn't charge themselves interest while holding it. Thanks to any answers!! I hope that made sense...

P.S. example:
This would be kind of like when car companies aren't doing too well in selling cars, so they give you an interest free loan. would they do this for a house?

>

Answer: No, they're not going to give you any sort of interest free loan. You can certainly apply to the same bank for a mortgage, but that transaction will be completely separate from your purchase of the home from the same bank.

And don't count on 'getting the home for less' either. While that occurs sometimes, I've also seen bank owned homes sell for considerably MORE than the bank's asking price.

Question: Indiana.Wife Died Approved for a home I can afford, can I buy it, and let the 1st foreclose and keep the new?

I can not afford where I are currently living. I originally bought this house 3 years ago. My wife died in 2006, we had no insurance on her. The payments are to much for me alone.

I have been approved for another loan. I know all about it ruining my credit but can I keep a new house if I do buy another and let the one I am currently in go thru foreclosure?

I can not sell it due to the current market and location of this doublewide. There is no equity in this Doublewide.

The payments are current at this time, and that is why I applied for another loan and was approved.

Would I be able to keep the new house without fear of it being took etc?

I have tried over the past year to sell this, etc. and it will not sell. I have spoken with the bank, and tried to get a refinance to lower payments, with no results.

I have found a house I can afford, and at the same time try to save my emotional self by no longer living in this house where she died.

Can I do this or not?

>

Answer: I am sorry for your loss.

Keep the payments current until you can close on the new home. No they can't take it away, but they can put a lien on the new one for the balance of the other loan. Or they could send the IRS a 1099 form and gross up your income for the year for the balance of the other loan, or they could put a personal judgment lien against you. All of these will show up on your credit report as you already know.

You have some options; 1 - rent it out for the mortgage amount until the market turns. 2- sell at the break even point or less which could mean bringing some money to the table to get rid of it. 3 - give the lender the deed in lieu of foreclosure. The latter will impact your credit.
