Foreclosed Texas Homes
Foreclosed Texas Homes

Question: What price should I ask for a bank foreclosure?
I was wondering if anyone has ever bid on, and won a bank foreclosed home.
If I should bid on a foreclosed home, how much lower than the asking price should I ask?
If a home is listed let's say $75k, think I should low ball them? A price somewhere in the low $50'sK?
The house I would like to bid on is in Central Texas. Although the housing market seems to be slow right now, it's not as slow in Texas as in other states.
Thanks.>
Answer: Someone gave me some really good advice. But I already knew this anyway.
It depends on how much you want the property. They really are selling now. Especially the foreclosures and short sales.
If you see a home the bank is asking 75k for and you REALLY REALLY want it? I would bid closer to it.
But if you are just playing to get good deals to flip, then go low.
And let those that need a home or place to live for a DEAL go closer to the asking price, which is usually to a loss to the banks, big time.
