Question: Can anyone tell me where to find free foreclosure listings for the state of ohio?

I am looking to purchase a foreclosed home, but every site wants you to pay money for listings. Isn't there a government site that see the listings?

These are listed with Realtors. You can find them for free on the regular MLS.

Question: How do I locate foreclosed homes in my area?

My boyfriend and I want to buy a house and heard about the foreclosed houses that can go for $1. We want to take advantage of the low priced housing, but all the websites that I have found want you to pay for a year subscription for the addresses and other important information. Where do I go to find this public information for my community if it's not on-line?

Answer: The county recorder has ALL the infomation on homes in foreclosure. HOWEVER these homes are not a bargain. They will sell for about market value.

Question: Is there any way to find home foreclosures for free?

I am trying to find a website that has complete foreclosure listings for free. Every time I look on the web the foreclosure sights say the listings are free, but in order to look into this any further you have to pay a fee with a debit or credit card. Is there any sight that truly is free? A sight that will give you addresses without having to pay? Thanks for answering if you can!
