Question: how do i buy a foreclosed house which is real estate owned?
I Found a house which was recently foreclosed and it has recently reverted back to being real estate owned. the asking price is 50,000 less than the property value. i found this on yahoo realestate and it was through realtytrac so who do i contact about this property?

Answer: Teres should be some kind of ID number associated with this property, or a name of the agency holding it. If not, call and check public records in the county the home is located in. Someone is paying taxes on the home as well so you can check with the local receivers office. Good Luck!!

Question: Tax foreclosure sale?
If property is purchased in a tax forclosure sale is the buyer liable for the mortage or leins on the property. Also if the person still resides in the home on the property how quickly can they be evicted.
I am looking to buy some property and want to make sure I am weather I am going to have to deal with unknown mortage amounts or leins on the property.

Answer: You are NOT buying property, you are buying the tax lien only.
You have to wait 5 years and then you can partion a judge to attempt to foreclose. And yes, you get all of the liens that go with it.
If the owner pays the taxes within those 5 years you have no claim and can not obtain the property lien or no lien.

Question: How do I get a list of foreclosed homes for free online?
All the sights that I see want money for the listings or they do a free trial. Does anyone know how I can get the listings free. I thought that info was supposed to be public.
