Answer: This is asked in Y A everyday, and the short answer is that free sites don't exist. And the ones you pay for are not renowned for their accuracy.

Question: Free foreclosure List! Please!!?

Does anyone know of a web site that list foreclosed homes in Michigan WITH the square footage information and does so with out making you pay any money. All I can find are sites that want me to pay to get the details. Please help.

Question: How can I find free foreclosed homes listing in my area?

I live in Louisville, Kentucky. Isn't there some free list by the government or some way to show these properties?

Answer: All at one site? None as far as I know. I know BofA and Wamu have them, so each bank probably has their own. If you can't find it you can call them, but you'll miss out on the smaller company owned foreclosure. The best way would be to contact a realtor. You have no obligation to buy, but they are low on work right now, and I'm sure they'll be happy to compile a list for you, in your price range, area, etc. Also, I'm sure you know if you're looking at foreclosures, but HUD has a "Neighborhood Stabilization program" From the 1st bailout, that gives buyers of foreclosed homes in most areas no interest loans to fix up the foreclosure, etc. Your lender should know about it.
