Question: Where can i find free foreclosure listings online ?

I been looking for a home to own not to resell. I been looking online for foreclosure listings but all ask to sign up and i dnt want to sign up because they ask for my card #. Is there any sites that don't require any sign ups and have the whole info about the houses not js the street

Answer: Hi there, most of them charge.
You can google your bank and add foreclosure to it and you get to the bank foreclosure sites.
We have used Bank of America before, they have lots of listing.
Just type in "Bank of America real estate or foreclosure listings"
Also you can ask a local Real Estate company to e-mail or fax you all listings they have that are under foreclosure. That doesn't cost you anything.
Another option is to go to your Tax offices and/or Courthouse and ask where you can look up the information.

Question: Does anyone know what is required purchase foreclosed homes in a gov auction in Texas?

I just basically want a run down on what occurs and if it is the tax lien only what happens with the mortgage holder..I just don't have a clue in how this works but I know there is a property that I'm interested that is going to be auctioned off at 1115 Congress, Houston, Texas on 5/6 and it seems like getting info is like pulling teeth! there is a 1st and 2nd mort and tax lien..go figure. I've reseached and done as much legwork as i can and i've come up with 3 different trustees, one law firm-got nothing from there, one at the county clercs office- the 'clerks knew nothing found nothing..dead end, and another name that went nowhere. HELP!

Question: buying and renting Foreclosed houses in Texas?

Me and my husband are looking into buying foreclosed homes in the surrounding Houston area. We are wanting to rent the first one and if it goes well buy a few more and rent them and move ourselves into one. I think we have to fill out some type of paperwork to be landlords. What exactly will we have to do, in buying the house to renting them. Neither of us have ever bought a house before so we are both lost.

Question: How to find a foreclosed house?

in Colorado? I have heard websites like Reality Trac can be unreliable (already registered) and I was wondering if their was a more reliable way to find listings of foreclosed homes. Also what process do you have to go through if it is already owned by the bank (not at auction). Contact the bank? Do you need the total amount it costs? Is it hard to get it financed? Thank you for your help...I really appreciate it.

Question: Does a foreclosed home auctioned by the Lender come with a clean title?

I am going to an auction (cash) and want to be sure I do not have to worry about any judgements/liens on the property. Does the title come clean since I would be the new Owner? What should I have concerns about? IRS? I would imagine the opening bid should include any outstanding matters..correct?
This is taking place in Contra Costa County, Nor Cali.
As of the search that I had someone do the title is clean, as of today. This bids next week.
