What Can I Do to Stop Foreclosure?

My girlfriend is about to lose her house because she can't afford it after refinancing. She is in default and will soon be kicked out of her home in foreclosure. We're running out of time. The house is a nice house in Orlando, Fl, but the market is no good for sellers. Homes are not selling at the values they should. If she were to sell, she will not be able to sell for enough money to pay off the bank and they will surely come after her for the difference in what she can pay and what they need for her to pay. Should she let it be foreclosed on? Is there a way to stop foreclosure? What about filing bankruptcy? Her credit isn't very good anyway. Maybe it is a good option for her? Thanks for the advice.

Welcome to Foreclosures Help!

I hope to be able to provide a lot of useful information to help people to avoid foreclosure. To stop foreclosure, you need to know a lot about how foreclosure works. Different states and sometimes different cities have different laws when it comes to the foreclosure process. People also view foreclosures differently in different states. Foreclosures are never good and should be avoided if at all possible. Foreclosure on a person's credit report stays on the credit report for many years. During that time, it is very difficult to borrow money. Foreclosure is often thought of as being even worse than bankruptcy.
